January 7th, 2010 - A few changes
As many have noticed, activity has dropped a little below what we would like it to be so we are making a few changes that should bring back a member or two.
Firstly we are rolling out a new plan for all staff members to prioritize our releases and make them more regular. This should bring a new release about once a week. We used to have about one release a month, but now we will have 4 per month.
Next, we are eliminating Sig Requests and the Sig Request staff group indefinitely. Interest in sig requests and design has dropped significantly compared to template design. We have not had a request in months and frankly there is no need to have one sig staff around doing nothing. Thanks to all the previous sig staff who made all the amazing sigs.
We are currently hiring for a new logo staff member as well as a new coding staff member. Please post in the applications forum if interested.
